What's short run publishing?
Short Run publishing refers to print runs of small quantities of books. At Print Storm, our high quality equipment allows us to deliver superior book publishing services to people, even if they require just 100 books! Short run publishing is of particular benefit to authors as it keeps their investment costs low and also minimises the need for storage room.

As an additional service, Print Storm offers book storage for authors who don't have the space to store their own books.

How does it work?
Short run publishing is relatively simple. At Print Storm, we offer a number of different services to help make the whole process easy for you. If need be, we can co-ordinate the whole book publishing process by organising the design of your cover, ISBN, barcode and typeset. Alternatively, we can take files supplied by you (which must be within certain guidelines which we can provide) and simply print and publish your work.

Your books are then sent to you for approval. Once approved, we will run your publication, bind your book to your specification (there are a number of different binding options), trim the bound book, package it and have them delivered to your door in a relatively small amount of time.

Are short run prices competitive?
Short-run publishing costs are very competitive.

Our specialised equipment that allows us to offer this service means that we can be relatively competitive compared to larger publishing companies.

Although a smaller run of books may mean a higher cost per book, it gives you the convenience of a small investment, and allows you to test the market without taking a gamble on what may or may not happen.
