Eco-wise buffalo board walks the talk. Carbon neutral from raw material to finished product, it uses fully recyclable fibres from sustainably managed forests and minimum 18% clean pre-industrial recycled content.
When you want to make a statement that reflects its earthy and eco-friendly credentials, a buffalo board business card is a great introduction.
The natural look suits businesses from organic growers to vintage clothing, craft beer brewers, boutique wineries, gourmet food producers, galleries and creative enterprises.
This unbleached, natural brown kraftboard is strong and moisture resistant, so it stays the course and won’t let you down. It’s inexpensive too, so you’ll be saving money and doing the right thing by the earth!
Paper (or paper stock) used in commercial printing has a language all its own. The weight of paper is measured in gsm, or grams per square metre. As a guide, copy paper is 80gsm, gloss or matt brochure paper is commonly 150gsm and business cards are printed on 300 to 350gsm paper referred to as card stock or board.
You may have heard about coated and uncoated paper, card and board. That doesn’t refer to laminating or celloglazing, but how the paper is manufactured. Uncoated stock is paper in its natural state. The miniscule gaps between the fibres mean it is more porous, will absorb more ink and has a slightly rough feel. When it is printed, edges are softer and colours not quite as vivid, but it has a welcoming look and feel and is a great match for the right business brands. Buffalo board is definitely uncoated!
Standard card size is 89mm x 54mm or go for a custom look to suit your business – a square card, smaller size or rounded corners – the choice is yours.
Printing is full colour one side or both, with the earthy board colour adding richness and authenticity. Buffalo board is great for unique, innovative designs and contemporary handwritten-style fonts, so don’t be afraid to try something new or throw out a challenge to our designers!
